Adventages with DO88 performance-inlet system:

- Dyno-tested improvement of + 21 pk / + 60 Nm (Volvo V70 2.5T with Stage 1 ECU-upgrade.)
- 24% beter airflow over the OEM. Tested in the DO88 SuperFlow SF-1020 flowbank.
- 9 ° C (16 ° F) lower IAT as the OEM and 21 ° C (38 ° F) lower as an open filter with an heatshied installed.
- Lower pressure drop and IAT, until 3,5% lower fuel consumption.

De DO88 inlet system is developed to increase the airflow, to decrease the negative pressure and at the same time draw in cold air only. Many aftermarket inlet systems draw in hot air directly after the ventilator, which results in an very high IAT and therefore in a lower power/ performance. So this system provides a much colder air inlet temperature.

Always keep in mind that the OEM inlet system and the air filter is developed for the performance level the car original is build for. The increase in power can result in your standard intake system not performing well enough. If the inlet system does not the performance that you need. It will be hard for the turbocompressor to draw in the air it requires, which will decrease the engine efficiency and loss of horsepower. So, even with a software tuning, the DO88 inlet system will give an performance increase over the OEM inlet!
